Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival in Trivandrum – Varkala

Pick up from Trivandrum airport / railway station and drive to Varkala (approx. 45 km, 1.5 hrs). Visit Papanasam (Varkala) Beach and its cliff, Janardhana Swamy Temple and Sivagiri Mutt. Evening at the North Cliff cafés. Overnight stay in Varkala.

Day 2

Varkala to Kovalam via Trivandrum

After breakfast, drive to Trivandrum and visit Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple (dress code applies), Napier Museum and Kuthiramalika Palace. Continue to Kovalam and check in to the beach resort. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 3

Kovalam & Poovar Backwaters

Morning at Lighthouse Beach and Hawa Beach. Afternoon boat cruise through the Poovar backwaters and golden sand estuary where the river meets the sea. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 4

Kovalam to Kanyakumari

After breakfast, drive to Kanyakumari (approx. 85 km, 2.5 hrs) via Padmanabhapuram Palace and Suchindram Temple. Visit Kumari Amman Temple and watch the sunset where three seas meet. Overnight stay in Kanyakumari.

Day 5

Kanyakumari – Departure

Watch the sunrise, then take the ferry to Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue. Drive back to Trivandrum (approx. 90 km) for drop at the airport / railway station. Tour ends with happy memories.

October to March has calm seas and pleasant weather. Swimming is not advised during the monsoon (June–August).
